Description

This coming Tuesday, 15 February is our next meeting on Zoom at 7pm. We are pleased to welcome Emma Evans, Legal Director at Brabners Manchester to discuss Legal Professional Privilege.

Legal Professional Privilege can be an intrinsic and one of the most important protections for companies and individuals facing regulatory investigations or criminal proceedings.

  • Have you heard of it?
  • Do you know what it means?
  • How can it be applied within your business?
  • What does it allow for?

What ‘privilege’ is not, and what care should be exercised when considering it?

Emma Evans, a experienced Health and Safety Practitioner and Lawyer at Brabners, Manchester will seek to demystify the position around ‘Legal Privilege’ and by using ‘the 5 Ws’ (who, what, when, where, why) explain and cover when and how it could be applied, and what ‘value’ it may add if applied properly.

Emma will also be sharing with members her latest views /opinions on: some of the focus areas for H&S, what the recent H&S statistics tell us, and recent sentencing decisions.
